Jacob Halaas brings leadership, academic success, and diverse experience to the Saints. A two-time All-Academic Team selection at Aquinas, Halaas helped his team reach the state quarterfinals and capture two regional championships during his high school career. He also played hockey for nine years and lacrosse for eight, and is a member of the Aquinas Esports team (Valorant).
Halaas chose Aquinas for its close-knit community atmosphere, valuing the smaller campus environment and strong connections with professors and teammates. He defines success through the relationships he has built — from professors and coaches to teammates and mentors across campus.
A unique part of his story: he served as a billet host for the National Team Development Program, gaining the experience of hosting elite athletes and building lasting bonds.
