Biography
Jacob Halaas enters his senior year with Aquinas Men's Lacrosse bringing 12 years of experience and an accomplished academic résumé to the Saints. A Communication and Business major with concentrations in Human Resources and Marketing, Halaas is a three-time NAIA All-Academic honoree. During his career at Plymouth High School, he helped his team capture a regional championship before continuing his lacrosse journey at Aquinas. Halaas developed his game with PLG and Team Total and also grew up playing hockey, including time with Victory Honda. He values Aquinas for its unique setting close to downtown Grand Rapids and defines success through making lasting memories while preparing for a career after graduation. Halaas grew up in a billet family that hosted hockey players from the Plymouth Whalers and USA Hockey's National Team Development Program, giving him a unique connection to elite-level athletics from an early age.
