Aquinas College

Maxim Sist enters his junior year with Aquinas Men's Lacrosse combining success on the field with a strong academic focus. An Environmental Science major with a minor in Biology, Sist has earned Scholar Athlete recognition and Second Team All-Conference honors during his career. A De La Salle Collegiate graduate, he played four years of high school lacrosse, including three varsity seasons, and further developed his game through club competition with 313 Lacrosse. Sist also competed in wrestling for two years, adding another element of toughness to his athletic background. He chose Aquinas because of its strong natural sciences foundation, high level of lacrosse competition and close-knit campus community. Sist defines success through helping the Saints win a conference championship while securing an internship that can prepare him for a career he enjoys. His father is from Italy, and Sist has had the opportunity to travel there to visit family.
