Biography

Sterling Heights, Mich. | Environmental Science & Biology

Maxim Sist brings a strong science focus and competitive edge to Aquinas. A WHAC finalist, Sist played four years of high school lacrosse, including three varsity seasons, and also competed in club lacrosse. He adds multi-sport toughness from two years of wrestling at both the JV and varsity levels.

Sist chose Aquinas for the strong bond between players and coaches within the lacrosse program, along with the university’s natural science programs. He defines success as winning conference championships and securing internships that prepare him for life after college.

A unique note: his father is from Italy, and he has visited family there — an experience he considers unforgettable.
