Biography
Sophomore Nik Nurmikko returns to the Saints while pursuing a degree in exercise science. A Westfield, Indiana, native, Nurmikko entered Aquinas after a successful high school career that included four regional runner-up finishes. He played lacrosse for nine years, including three varsity seasons, while competing for True Indiana at the club level. He also played football, helping develop the physical style of play he brings to the field.
Nik chose Aquinas because of the strong culture and camaraderie within the men's lacrosse program. He values being part of a close-knit team and defines success by contributing to the Saints while creating lasting memories with his teammates.
A fun fact about Nik is that he is the middle child in his family.
