Aquinas College

Samuel Scherphorn joins Aquinas Men's Lacrosse after a decorated career at Berkley High School. A First Team All-OAA selection and All-State Honorable Mention honoree, Scherphorn was named his team's Offensive Player of the Year in both 2025 and 2026 and finished his prep career as the M1 Lacrosse record holder for points. He brings seven years of lacrosse experience to the Saints, including three varsity seasons, and competed with Misfits Lacrosse Club throughout high school.

Scherphorn chose Aquinas because of the atmosphere surrounding the College and the genuine care shown by the coaching staff. He defines a successful AQ experience as having fun, becoming involved in the community and continuing to grow as a person. Away from lacrosse, Scherphorn enjoys golfing, fishing, listening to music and spending time with his girlfriend and friends.
