Biography
TJ Murphy enters his senior year as one of the most decorated players in Aquinas Men's Lacrosse history. A Business Administration major with a minor in Economics, Murphy followed earlier Second Team All-Conference recognition with a breakout 2026 season that earned him First Team All-Conference honors, WHAC Midfielder of the Year, First Team All-American recognition and NAIA National Player of the Year. He has also earned Academic All-Conference honors twice, pairing elite performance on the field with success in the classroom. Murphy originally chose Aquinas for the opportunity to compete in collegiate athletics while pursuing his degree and has developed from an experienced varsity player into one of the nation's premier lacrosse athletes. His championship aspirations remain central to his AQ journey as he enters his final season with the Saints. Away from lacrosse, Murphy's favorite basketball player is Angel Reese.
