Aquinas College

Evan Goodfellow enters his junior year academically and second season with Aquinas Men's Soccer while pursuing a degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science with a minor in Athletic Coaching. A native of Saffron Walden, England, Goodfellow has played soccer throughout his life and developed within the Cambridge United system beginning at age eight.

Before arriving at Aquinas, Goodfellow captained Cambridge United's U19 side in the National Football Youth League and earned selection to the league's 2024-25 National All-Star Team, competing against academy sides from clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham, Watford and Huddersfield. He was also named Players' Player for both the U18 and reserve/U23 teams at hometown club Saffron Walden Town FC at age 17 while earning opportunities and scoring goals with the men's first team.

Goodfellow continued making an impact after arriving in the United States, earning recognition on the 2025 WHAC All-Newcomer Team and being selected to the 2025 TN Spring Showcase Team of the Showcase. Comfortable with either foot and capable of playing multiple positions, he prefers playing up front.

Goodfellow chose Aquinas because of his respect for Head Coach Luke Ruff and the College's academic opportunities. He hopes to make a positive impact on and off the pitch while helping the Saints reach their potential. Away from soccer, Goodfellow is an avid golfer with an 8.0 handicap and has played courses throughout England, including one ranked among the country's top 20.
