Aquinas College

Junior Hope Kanouse continues her collegiate career with the Aquinas women's basketball program while pursuing a degree in Clinical Exercise Science. A native of Belding, Michigan, Kanouse arrived at Aquinas following an outstanding multi-sport career that showcased both athletic excellence and leadership.

A six-time All-Conference selection and six-time varsity captain across basketball, volleyball and track, Kanouse helped lead her teams to two conference championships and qualified for the MHSAA State Finals in the 1,600 meters during her senior season. She has also excelled in the classroom, earning Dean's List honors during the 2024-25 academic year.

Hope chose Aquinas because of its beautiful campus, close proximity to home and welcoming community. She looks forward to continuing to grow both academically and athletically while remaining part of a close-knit team. Away from basketball, her favorite treat is a classic Coca-Cola slushie.
