2026-27 Men's Basketball Roster
Biography
Joe Russau joins Aquinas Men's Basketball after previously competing at Muskegon Community College. A Memphis native who attended Memphis Central before completing his high school career at Wyoming Lee, Russau earned All-Conference recognition and Athlete of the Year honors during his basketball career.
Russau is grateful for the opportunity to continue playing the game while working toward his bachelor's degree at Aquinas. He defines success as graduating while helping the Saints achieve success on the court. Guided by the phrase "Perception is reality," Russau approaches his opportunity at AQ with an appreciation for where basketball and education can take him. Away from the court, his favorite movie is Paid in Full, and he enjoys R&B, rap and gospel music.
