Aquinas College

Junior transfer Amelia Kidd joins Aquinas after a successful career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Majoring in Psychology with a minor in Communications, Kidd helped lead MGCCC to the national tournament while earning MAIS All-Conference and MAIS Futures Team honors.

A versatile athlete, Amelia played basketball for seven years and softball for eight before fully dedicating herself to soccer. She became a three-year varsity player and senior captain while competing for Delta Red Bulls U19, Jackson Premier, and Lobos Rush during her club career.

Kidd chose Aquinas because of its beautiful campus, welcoming community, and competitive women's soccer program. She looks forward to building lasting friendships while continuing to develop as both a student and a player. She believes success will come through constant growth and making the most of every opportunity.

Outside of soccer, Amelia enjoys reading psychology and philosophy books, writing poetry and song lyrics, creating artwork, playing guitar, working out, and listening to music from nearly every genre.
