Aquinas College

Junior midfielder Angelita Carlos joins the Aquinas women's soccer program after transferring from Cochise College. A native of Tucson, Arizona, Carlos graduated from Sunnyside High School in 2024 and is pursuing a degree in biology while exploring her future academic path. She arrives in Grand Rapids eager to embrace a new chapter both on the field and in the classroom.

Carlos brings an impressive and diverse athletic background to Aquinas. She has played soccer for 15 years, including four varsity seasons in high school, while also competing in softball, cross country, track & field, cheerleading, basketball and karate. Her soccer experience includes time with RSL and FC Tucson's WPSL program, and she has competed at the conference and regional levels throughout her career.

What excites Carlos most about Aquinas is joining the women's soccer family, meeting new people and making Aquinas feel like home as she transitions from out of state. She also looks forward to growing in her faith while balancing academics and athletics. Angelita believes a positive environment, a strong support system and helpful campus resources will be the keys to her success. Away from the field, she enjoys cheer stunting, listening to R&B music, watching The Princess and the Frog, and treating herself to sushi and seafood boils.
