Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Chris Denham joined the Aquinas College women's soccer coaching staff in 2026, bringing more than 16 years of coaching experience exclusively in the girls' and women's game along with an extensive background in player development and coach education.

As an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach, Denham is committed to helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. His experience spans collegiate soccer, elite club competition and coach education, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on developing players and building successful team cultures.

A graduate of Cornerstone University, Denham earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Management while competing for four years with the Golden Eagles men's soccer program. He currently serves as the Affiliate & Partner Club Director at Midwest United FC, where he oversees club partnerships and coaches multiple girls' teams. Throughout his coaching career, Denham has also held positions with Grand Rapids Community College, Davenport University, the Muskegon Risers UWS Team and Michigan Rangers FC. He holds both the U.S. Soccer B License and U.S. Soccer Coach Educator License.

Denham chose Aquinas because of the people and Head Coach Mario Zuniga-Gil's vision for the future of the program, believing it aligned with his own philosophy for teaching the game and developing student-athletes. He values the opportunity to help build something special while investing in the next generation of Saints.

Outside of soccer, Denham is an avid distance runner who has completed 45 marathons since 2020. He also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Mallory, his mother, Christy, and his sister, Brooke.
