Biography
Kiersen Korienek, from Grandville, Michigan, brings an impressive résumé of experience to the Saints. A master’s student in management, she was a decorated athlete at Grandville High School, earning All-Conference, All-District, MVP, MLive Athlete of the Week, and City of Champions High School Soccer Player of the Year honors. Her teams won conference and district titles and advanced to the regional finals. She also excelled in futsal with ABK Futsal Academy, winning three USYF national championships and competing internationally with the U.S. Youth Futsal Team in 2018 and 2019. Korienek has also played semi-professionally for the Muskegon Risers in the UWS and currently with Grand Rapids Ole FC, while also serving as a member of the U.S. Women’s Futsal National Team. At Aquinas, she was drawn by the team culture, level of play, and supportive community. Her goal is to win a national championship, and outside of soccer, she enjoys futsal, Olympic lifting, and is a licensed Engineer in Training. Her favorite movie is Legally Blonde.
