Aquinas College

Sophie Munch comes to Aquinas from Plainwell, Michigan, and plans to major in Sports Management. Her decorated high school career includes serving as a two-year captain, earning team MVP honors once, being named All-Conference First Team twice, Second Team once, Honorable Mention once, All-Region three times, and Third Team All-State once. She helped lead her team to two district titles and one undefeated conference season. A four-year varsity athlete, Sophie also competed in softball, basketball, and track. She has six years of club volleyball experience with USA Michigan and one year with Dead Frog. Sophie chose Aquinas because it felt like “a home away from home” and plans to give 100% effort in everything she does. She enjoys going to the beach, loves country music, counts the Twilight movies among her favorites, owns two Siberian huskies, and has traveled to 49 states.
