Aquinas College

Sophomore Sophie Munch continues her collegiate volleyball career while pursuing a degree in Sports Management. A native of Plainwell, Michigan, Munch arrived at Aquinas after an outstanding high school career highlighted by multiple All-Conference, All-Region and All-State honors.

A two-year team captain and team MVP, Munch helped lead her program to two district championships and an undefeated conference season. She competed in volleyball, softball, basketball and track while also playing six years of club volleyball with USA Michigan and one season with Dead Frog Volleyball Club.

Sophie chose Aquinas because it immediately felt like a home away from home. She approaches every opportunity with the goal of giving 100 percent both in the classroom and on the court. Away from volleyball, she enjoys going to the beach, listening to country music, watching the Twilight movies and spending time with her two Siberian Huskies. She has also traveled to 49 states.
