Biography
Tess Griffith has built an impressive volleyball career through consistent excellence and leadership. A graduate of Ionia High School, Griffith earned All-Conference honors in 2021 and 2022 after receiving Honorable Mention recognition in 2020. She was also named Most Improved Player (2020), Team MVP (2022), Greenville Daily News Newcomer of the Year (2020), and Greenville Daily News Player of the Year (2022). Her teams captured district championships in 2019 and 2022, along with a conference championship in 2021.
Griffith has played volleyball for 12 years, including four varsity seasons, while also competing in track and field. She developed her game with Attack Volleyball Club before continuing her collegiate career at Aquinas.
She chose Aquinas because of the team chemistry and welcoming environment, and she defines success by creating lasting memories with her teammates while continuing to grow as both a student and athlete. Outside of volleyball, she enjoys spending time with her pet dachshund.
