Noah Momber Commits to AQ Men's XC/TF

Noah Momber, the son of Holly and Bryan Momber, has signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Noah, who currently attends Sparta High School, became the first signee of the 2022-23 recruiting class for the Aquinas College men's cross country and track & field programs.

Momber is very big on hunting and fishing and he also enjoys skiing and golf.  Noah stated, "I chose Aquinas because I immediately felt a connection with the team and the program. The overall vibe of the community and campus stood out to me."

Noah, who led the Spartans to a regional cross country title this Fall, has posted personal bests that include 16:54 (Cross Country), 4:46 (1600 Meters) and 2:11 (800 Meters). He also has been named an All Conference performer numerous times and recently had the Leadership Award for XC at Sparta High School named after him. Momber splits his time in the spring participating in both track & field and golf for the Spartans.

Ted Smith, head boys cross country coach at Sparta added, "Noah has overachieved as an athlete from hard work and perseverance.  Noah has been a driving force to this past season's Regional championship by working with the underclassmen to inspire hard work every day and by making each and every athlete feel like he was part of the team.  Noah was an extension of the coaches and we could always depend on him to make sure the team was ready at practice and meets to get better each and every day."

Noah, who has one sibling named Emma, plans on pursuing a degree in Secondary Education at Aquinas College.

Aquinas head coach Mike Wojciakowkski commented, "I am really looking forward to Noah joining our program here at Aquinas. He possesses all of the attributes that I look for in a student-athlete and I believe he will be a successful collegiate athlete for the Saints."
