Men's Lacrosse Signs Kevin LaHaie

Head Coach Doug Seites and the men's lacrosse team have announced another signing and addition to their 2020 recruiting class, receiving a Letter of Intent from Grand Blanc's Kevin LaHaie.

LaHaie will come to Aquinas College after playing his prep lacrosse at Grand Blanc High School, where he has helped grow the Bobcats' program into a team on the rise. LaHaie has played for Grand Blanc lacrosse for nine years, including four on the varsity team, and helped the Bobcats to their first-ever home playoff win last season. A team captain, LaHaie was named Team Offensive MVP, First-Team All Saginaw Valley League, and All-Region last season. He was also named to the Academic All-State team last spring. LaHaie, who can play both midfield and attack, scored 41 goals while dishing out 11 assists and grabbing 79 groundballs in 15 games last season. LaHaie played travel lacrosse for Momentum Lacrosse for three seasons, and another with Coalition Lacrosse.

"I chose Aquinas because of its great environment, it truly felt like home to me," said LaHaie. "I also wanted to play for a coach and program that loved the game of lacrosse as much as I do. I want to try and win a championship and I feel like I can do that here at Aquinas."

"We are thrilled to have Kevin join the program," said Coach Seites. "Kevin is a versatile and talented offensive player who will immediately help us on offense next year. He is aggressive and assertive as a dodger and he is constantly working hard to make the offense go. Just as importantly, Kevin is going to make us better off the field as well. He's a great student, teammate and leader who is going to represent Aquinas College and be a positive asset to our program."

Kevin will study Business at Aquinas College.
