Aquinas head coach Adam Antor is excited to announce the addition of Kealan McCutcheon to the Saints esports program. Originally from Stevensville, McCutcheon comes to AQ after transferring from nearby Grand Valley State.

During his time at GVSU, McCutcheon participated on the varsity team as a freshman and was named a competitive manager before his transfer to Aquinas. He has competed with SWM LoL and been a 1-on-1 League of Legends tournament champion 29 times.

From Lakeshore High School, McCutcheon also played soccer for nine years, including competing for teams such as Jr. Irish and Indiana Invaders. He participated in the Michigan Youth Arts Festival and also earned a Distinguished Member Award.

"Kealan comes to Aquinas from a successful club program at GVSU and we could not be more excited to have him," Antor said. "As a Diamond-ranked League of Legends player, Kealan will immediately make an impact on our League of Legends team as we seek to make a name for our program on the national stage." 

McCutcheon plans to study psychology at Aquinas. "I'm most excited about being able to play League of Legends seriously in an environment made to help me prosper and grow," explained McCutcheon. "I'm pumped to join my teammates and work hard with them to become the best college League of Legends team."
