The NAIA announced its' Men's Lacrosse Pre-Season Coaches Top-10 Poll this afternoon, and the Aquinas College Saints will start the season ranked eighth in the opening rankings. 

The Saints opened last season outside of the Top-10 in the preseason poll, but finished the year ranked #2 in the final poll after a run to the National Championship game. Aquinas is one of four WHAC schools ranked in the Top-10 to start 2020 and one of six in the Top-15 overall. With 39 voter points, the Saints trailed #7 Keiser by just one point. Aquinas returns All-America players Sam Werner and Matt Wagner, along with All-WHAC performers Clayton Boerigter and Sam Asare-Konadu from last year's squad. 

This is the second time in program history the Saints have entered the season with a pre-season Top-10 ranking. The 2018 Saints began the season with a #6 National ranking. This is the 9th time in school history the Saints have been ranked in the Top-10, and fifth straight poll in the Top-10. The Saints have at least been in the Receiving Votes group or ranked in all 34 National polls dating back to the start of NAIA Lacrosse play in 2016.
