Lou Nageotte Signs With Men's Lacrosse

Head coach Doug Seites and the men's lacrosse team are excited to announce the signing of Lou Nageotte, who recently signed his Letter of Intent to join the Saints in Fall 2021.

Nageotte hails from Hartland, Michigan and attends Hartland High School. A three-year varsity player for one of the top teams in the state, Nageotte has been part of Hartland teams that have won conference and Regional championships his first two years before last season's shortened season. Nageotte has seven years of lacrosse experience, and has played his last four years of club ball for Army Ants. He was named as an All-Star at the 2019 Can-Am Invitational recruiting tournament.

"Lou is a huge pick-up for us in this class," said head coach Doug Seites. "He will be a cornerstone of our incoming defensive group. Lou is a big, strong and aggressive defender who is a great fit for what we like in our defenders. He is comfortable clearing the ball and really gets after it on the field. Lou plays for one of the best high schools in the state and has proved himself against top competition at Hartland and with his club team. He seems to get better every time you see him and he's only scratching the surface of his potential. On top of that, Lou is a great person and student and we are beyond excited to add Lou and his family to our program."

"I chose Aquinas because it is near Grand Rapids, which is a great city," said Nageotte. "They have the programs that I want to study. I'm very happy that it is a smaller school, which will provide the smaller class sizes that I like. They have a strong lacrosse program and all of the coaches and players have been really welcoming. Every time that I visited there, it just felt like the right place for me." Lou will study Math or Science at Aquinas College.
