Chloe Mitchell Signs With Saints Women's Volleyball

Aquinas women's volleyball head coach Ryan Campbell has announced that Chloe Mitchell has signed her letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at AQ. Mitchell is from Spring Lake, Michigan and attended Western Michigan Christian High School.

Mitchell is a three time All-Conference team member, achieving the honor in the 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. She was also an All-Region team honoree in 2018-19 and again in 2019-20. She was also the first-ever volleyball player in the history of West Michigan Christian to be named to the All-State First Team after the 2019-20 season.

"Chloe was our first recruit and is a very talented lefty setter," commented coach Campbell. "She had a stellar senior season and brings the leadership qualities needed to be a setter. Chloe is both positive and competitive. She is a huge addition to our program."

Mitchell broke four school records included assists in a season, assists in a career, assists per match and blocks in a career. As a team, West Michigan Christian won conference and district championships and its first-ever regional championship. She and her team were Academic All-State and broke the overall team win/loss record.

Mitchell has played volleyball for six years, including three years on the West Michigan Christian varsity team. She also played two years of club volleyball with Angle Volleyball Club and two years with Inside Out Volleyball Club. Mitchell plans to be a Pre-PA with a minor in nutrition.

"Aquinas is unlike any other school I visited," commented Mitchell. "Not only does it possess an incredible team atmosphere, but it also has the most remarkable coaching staff that is incredibly genuine and passionate about what they aim to accomplish. For those reasons, I chose AQ as the school for me!"
