Saints Drop Absolute Heartbreaker to Cornerstone in Five-Set Thriller

AQ goes back and forth in five sets before dropping the match 3-2

The Saints women's volleyball squad traveled across town in Grand Rapids tonight (Oct. 20) to take on the Cornerstone Golden Eagles at Mol Arena. Aquinas opened up the match strong with a 25-19 win in the first set. The Golden Eagles returned with a strong set of their own, winning the second set by a score of 25-15. The third set went back in favor of the Saints, with a close set win of 25-21. CU flipped the script in the fourth set, winning 25-21.
