It did not take long for AQ to jump ahead as in the fifth minute,
Fin Pittock scored his second goal of the season.
Baptiste Bissessur sent a cross from the left side of the box to the right as Pittock rifled a shot the hit the under side of the cross bar and landed just on the other side of the line for the goal. Aquinas took this lead into halftime as the defense held up its end, not allowing a goal despite being outshot 7-2 in the half.
The Saints doubled the margin in the 53rd minute as

Jasper Schinkel being the benefactor of a Sills cross. His first goal of the season was scored from the right side as the defense lost him on the back post.
