Box Score

Women's Hockey competed in their first game of the weekend where they earned a shut-out victory against the Central Michigan University Chippewas. The Saints saw five different ladies score in the game.

The Saints struck at 10:33 in the first period when Jenna Hausman was assisted by Zoe Bergen and Morgan Kozar. Kozar was in a giving mood when she fed freshman forward, Gina Marzolo. Marzolo found the back of the net at 6:27 in the first period.

The Saints and Chippewas were locked in a stalemate during the second period. The Women then had a scoring party in the third period. Gina Marzolo scored once again at 16:14 when assisted by Chloe Donnelly and Jenna Blackwell. Two and half minutes later Lauryn Wood was assisted by Jenny Hausman. At 9:09 in the third, Kylie Rancilio took the puck up the ice to score unassisted. To finish the game Marzolo and Kozar each obtained their third point by assisting #13 Olivia Menard.

The Saints out shot the Chips 46-3. Freshman Laura Pointon didn't get much action tonight as she only saw three shots.

The Saints are back in action this tomorrow Saturday (Nov. 6) with an away match against Central Michigan.
