The Aquinas men's soccer team put up a valiant effort on the road on Friday afternoon (Mar. 19) against #9 UNOH in Rossford, Ohio, but the home Racers tallied a goal in the 50th minute to earn a tough 1-0 victory. AQ and UNOH were scoreless at halftime before the early second half goal for the Racers ended up being the game-winner.

Aquinas recorded five shots in the second half, but none found the back of the net as the equalizer. UNOH held a 17-5 edge in total shots, including a 5-2 advantage in shots on goal. The Racers took six of the seven corners and also led in fouls, 16-9.
