The Aquinas esports team and head coach Adam Antor are pleased to announce the addition of Evan Newman to the Saints program. From Naperville, Illinois, Newman will begin his athletic and academic career at AQ this fall.

Newman attended Naperville North High School in Illinois. He won the state League of Legends title and has been playing the game since he was 10 years old.

"I'm so excited to welcome Evan into the Aquinas College esports program this fall," Antor explained. "Evan is an extremely talented League of Legends player and will be playing in the jungle position for us. He comes from Naperville North High School, an absolute powerhouse of a high school esports team."

Planning to major in music education, Newman said of his decision to attend AQ: "I like the longevity and atmosphere of the team".
