The Aquinas Women's Hockey Team was back in action on Sunday February 13 for the second game against the Lake Superior State Lakers. A slew of third period goals doomed the Saints as they were unable to pull out the victory.

Aquinas was the first team to strike in the game when they scored at 6:20 in the first period on a power play. Alyssa Exline recorded the goal when she was assisted by McKenna Kaczor and Olivia Menard.

Then in the second with 1:18 left in the period, the Lakers were able to score on a powerplay. This sent the game into the third period with an even score.

The third period did not show any favor to the Saints though as the Lakers scored four more goals. They scored at 13:24, 10:57, 7:03, and 5:06 on a power play to finish the Saints

The Saints will be back in action for their last series of the season this coming Friday and Saturday against the Indiana Tech Warriors. The Saints are away Friday and at home Saturday. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM on Friday.
