Women's Results

The men's and women's bowling teams traveled down to Fort Wayne, Indiana yesterday (Feb. 26) to compete in the WHAC Championship. The men placed fourth out of the ten competing teams and qualified for bracket play to determine the winner of the WHAC Championship. Aquinas was paired up with the first-seeded Indiana Tech team in the first round of bracket play. The Warriors would go on to beat Aquinas 3-1 to advance into the next round against Lawrence Tech. IT would also beat LTU as they would win the tournament.

The women's team would place seventh at the event and would not qualify for bracket play. Lawrence Tech would top Lourdes 3-1 to take home the WHAC Championship for the women. There were no individual results at this event as all games were baker style.

The men played five sets of baker games and the ten teams would be seeded based off of those scores. Aquinas scored 725, 763, 851, 863, and 790 for an accumulative score of 3,992. That total was just 98 pins behind Indiana Tech. In the bracket play, AQ was just outed by IT by head-to-head scores of 210-192, 209-199, 215-225, and 202-181 in favor of the Warriors.

The women would finish seventh in their tournament with baker set scores of 660, 627, 634, 684, and 653. The women's total score was 3,258, 583 pins behind the first-seeded Lourdes University and 336 pins behind fourth-seeded Indiana Tech for a qualifying score.
