Kennadie Minerich Earns WHAC Offensive Player of the Week After Stellar Weekend

The WHAC Conference announced on Monday (Feb. 28) that Kennadie Minerich has been named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week for Women's Lacrosse. This award comes after the Saints had two games this weekend in which Minerich scored seven goals in total.

On Friday, the Saints played against #9 Georgetown. In the game, Minerich only recorded one goal but tallied three ground balls and two caused turnovers. In the matchup Sunday against the receiving votes Knights from Marian, Minerich could not be contained. She scored six times and added an assist in route to the Saints 18-9 victory. She also contributed four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Minerich led the team in goals and shots over the weekend, while also tying for the most points, ground balls, and caused turnovers. This is Minerich's first time earning the conference award.

Saints return to the field on Wednesday (Mar. 2) as AQ has its home opener against Hope College. The game is expected to begin at 5:00 PM.
