The women's lacrosse team was back in action for the first time since spring break when they took on the Britons of Albion College. Despite having a solid fourth quarter, the Saints were unable to secure the victory as they fell 18-20.

With this game in the books the Saints sit .500 with 4-4 record.

The Saint would be outscored in the first three quarters with scores of 6-4, 5-3, and 6-3. In the fourth the Saints finally found their groove on both ends of the field when they scored eight times compared to the Britons three. Unfortunately this wasn't enough to bring them back as they fell by two goals.

Cierra Davis had a huge day for the Saints when she score eight of Saints goals on 13 shots. She also contributed two ground balls and one caused turnover.
Trinity Reynoso and
Kennadie Minerich also contributed three goals each in the contest. Minerch assisted on five different goals in the contest as well.

The rest of the goals came from
Lauren Hansen with two and
Katelyn Hall and
Alexis Villarini with one each.

Jordan Gardner and
Azariah Wells split time in the net as Gardner played in the first half recorded five saves and 11 goals against. In the second half Wells had four saves and 9 goals against her.

The Saint will be in action Saturday when they open conference play against the Bethel Pilots. The game is scheduled for 5:00 PM in Mishawaka, Indiana.
