The women's lacrosse was in action on Sunday (March 6) for their first game over the spring break. The women faced off against the #4 team in the nation, Life University, and were unable to out score them falling 7-20 in Georgia.

After today, the Saints fall to 2-3 while the Running Eagles rise to 6-1 on the year.

The first goal of the day game from
Trinity Reynoso at 8:37 of the first period. She was assisted on the goal by
McKenna Burke. The Saints were able to get off two more goals in the first quarter with scores from
Cierra Davis and
Shaylin Rings to end the period with a score of 6-3.

In the second quarter the Saints struggled to find the back of the net, while Life found it many times outscoring AQ 8-1. The one goal came from
Naomi Plant.

In the second half the Saints scored three more times compared to the Running Eagles six second half goals.
Cierra Davis recorded two more goals to garner a hat trick and
Kennadie Minerich added a goal of her own.

Jordan Gardner played the full 60:00 minutes in goal and had 12 saves on the day.

AQ had 15 ground balls recorded on the day compared to Life's 24. AQ also had twenty shots and 10 clears during the game

The women's lacrosse team will look forward to playing in warme weather on Tuesday when they play against Point. The game is set for 5:00 PM.
