The women's lacrosse team played their second matchup of spring break on Tuesday, March 7, against The Point University Skyhawks. The Saints were able to put on a dominant showing both offensively and defensively by scoring 17 goals and only letting in two on their end.

With this game in the books, the Saints are now .500 with a 3-3 record. With the loss the Skyhawks fall to 1-6.

The Saints were dominant from the beginning with AQ scoring eight goals in the first half compared to the Skyhawks zero. In the first half,
Shaylin Rings was able to record a hat trick. Also contributing goals in the first half was
Kennadie Minerich,
Cierra Davis,
Katelyn Hall,
Trinity Reynoso, and
Lauren Hansen.

Jordan Gardner started the first half for the Saints and was only faced with one shot to which she saved.

In the second half the Saints bettered their previous half's goal total with nine. In the third quarter, the women had four goals from
Alex Sullivan,
McKenna Burke and
Trinity Reynoso to earn her a hat trick. The Skyhawks were able to score there only two goals before the quarter ended.

In the final quarter the score five more times to cap off their scoring assault.
Katelyn Hall scored two more times to record a hat trick. Minerich,
Naomi Plant, and
Alex Sullivan scored the other three goals.

Azariah Wells played the second half in goal for Aquinas and gave up two goals and didn't see any other shots.

The Saints are in action one more time over spring break with a game against Thomas More on Thursday. The game is expected to begin at 1:00 PM
