In place of the canceled Saints Women's Spring Invitational, the AQ women played a match against Cornerstone University yesterday (Apr. 11). The Saints scored a solid 352 (+64) yesterday at Boulder Creek Golf Club, especially considering the challenging conditions. The Cornerstone team scored a 361 (+73), giving AQ the win in the friendly crosstown clash.
Molly Clark played very well yesterday as the best golfer on the course. She shot an 82 (+10) in very cold and windy weather.
Calli O'Neill,
Brooke Kalisz, and
Emma Franklin all shot a +18 (90) on the day. Clark, O'Neill, Kalisz, and Franklin made up the four-player team for Aquinas yesterday.
Aquinas had five other players compete yesterday.
Kennedy Stoll shot a 92 (+20) on the course yesterday.
Chloe Johnson was just behind her with a score of 93 (+21).
Allison Quinn shot a 96 (+24) at Boulder Creek.
Meg Christian scored a 101 (+29) and
Lindsay Reens scored a 107 (+35) yesterday.
The Saints will be competing in a two-day tournament hosted by IU-East this weekend (Apr. 15-16). The IU-East Women's Spring Invitational will be played at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond, Ind.
