Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Rocket League team returned to action on Wednesday (Oct. 16th) with a contest with WHAC newcomer Defiance. The Saints started off hot and maintained their streak to find a sweep over the Yellow Jackets.
Aquinas 3, Defiance 0
The Saints jumped to action at the opening face off and didn't let their momentum stop there. As time expired in the first, AQ had started the contest off piping hot with a 10-0 win for game one.
The Yellow Jackets settled their feet and found their rhythm in game two showing a better performance. But Aquinas had their flight path planned out and kept the wind for a 4-3 win.
Entering the third, Defiance was backed into the corner and the Saints looked to close in. The Saints kept their bounce and full sailed their way to a 3-1 win in game three, giving them their second sweep of the season.
