Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Rocket League team returned to action on Friday (Oct. 4) with conference play against Lourdes. The best of five resulted in a sweep as AQ had their way with the Gray Wolves, outscoring them 18-2 in total.

The Saints came out the contest swiftly as they started to mount goals. Lourdes managed to find some in return, but not enough as the Saints kept adding them to their own total. As the first game clock came to expire, the Saints had taken the first game with a score of 5-2.
AQ took notice of the Gray Wolves strategy in game one and capitalized on it in game two. Aquinas nullified the LU offensive and doubled down on their own offensive efforts. AQ dog piled their way onto the scoreboard as they finished the contest 10-0.
Entering game three, AQ was one game away from earning the sweep. With three more goals and another stellar defensive performance, the Saints had completed the sweep with a 3-0 game three.
