Adrian, Mich. — The Aquinas College Cheer Team headed down to Adrian, Michigan, to take the mat twice in the WHAC Championships on Sunday (Mar. 10).
The Saints earned 61.83 in their preliminary round, and bumped up to a 72.43 in the final round of competition. Earning AQ a total score of 69.78, placing them in sixth out of the eight teams present.

After the conclusion of the WHAC Championships, season awards were presented to their respective recipients.
Morgan Kuula was awarded the "Champion of Character".
While
Lillian Houtteman, Kuula,
Maize Sholl,
Victoria Sommer,
Leslie St. Onge, and
Avery White all earned All-Academic awards. To be able to qualify for the All-Academic award, the athletes must be a junior or above in academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. In addition, the student-athlete must have been at Aquinas for at least one full year.
