Alma, Mich. — The Aquinas College (RV) women's lacrosse team traveled to Alma to take on the Scots on Thursday (Mar. 21). The Saints fought but couldn't handle the Scots pressure. Alma takes the win 19-6.

Alma opened the match with the first goal just under three minutes in.
Trinity Reynoso managed the rebuttal but this was the only goal that the Saints would see in the first. At the horn the score read 5-1.
The Scots held their control as the Saints only found one goal in the second, this time it was
Shaylin Rings assisted by
Kennadie Minerich.
Closing out the half, the Scots pushed their lead to 10-2.
Entering the third quarter, AQ looked to dig their feet in, but they never found their footing.
The Saints found two goals in the third, Minerich assisted by
Katelyn Hall, and Rings assisted by
Brianna Trepins.
AQ managed two more in the fourth but it was too little and too far in between, both Minerich and Rings had the final goals for the Saints.
At the final horn the scoreboard read 19-6 for the Scots.
By the Numbers
Rings earns a hat trick on the day and half of the goals for the Saints on the day.
Minerich had two goals and one assist.
Reynoso rolled it together with one goal.
Alma had 45 shots while AQ had 14.
Aquinas earned 15 ground balls while the Scots earned 24.
