Ottawa Lake, Mich. — The Aquinas College men's golf team took to the greens of the Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, for the Lourdes Fall Invitational. Here the Saints took part in the single day competition with 15 total teams. As the final golfers finished their runs, the Saints had come out on top by six strokes. This was the first time since the spring of 2022 that the men's team claimed the top spot in a tournament after an incredible team effort.

Here is what Head Coach John Konya had to say about the teams performance, "This is a great win for our program. We had some added motivation after our last event. I am really happy for our guys and our program. This gives us some great momentum going into the conference preview!" This win is also Coach Konya's first win as the leader of the golf program since he took over prior to the 2023-24 season.
Konya continued with, "Matt, Tony, McCoy, and Austin all played well today. This performance reinforces that we're on the right track! I'm really happy for these guys...the hard work is paying off."
