Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Rocket League team faced off with against Saint Xavier on Wednesday (Sep. 18) with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff time. The Saints managed to take the first game of the series, but were unable to find another victory during the contest. Resulting in a 3-1 win for the Cougars.

AQ started the night off strong with taking the first game 3-1.
Feeling good the Saints rolled into the second game of the match, but were just routed out by the Cougars with a finish of 2-1.
Here the balance shifted as Saint Xavier put the pedal to the medal and went on a spree to finish the game 6-2. Taking the lead in the contest overall, two games to one.
Aquinas bounced back in the fourth game but were just shy of pushing the contest to a dramatic fifth set as the Saints fell in the fourth with a score line of 4-3.
In the end, the Cougars of Saint Xavier had taken the Saints hopes of a undefeated streak by giving them their first loss of the season.
