Women's Cross Country NAIA Coaches' Poll - No. 2

Kansas City. Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Women's Cross Country Top 25 Coaches' Poll on Thursday (Sept. 25). The Saints, who were slated 15th in the previous poll, hold serve and remain in the #15 spot in the country.

Aquinas opened their season with a second place finish at the Calvin University Diemer Classic. The Saints tallied 37 points and only trailed the host Calvin University Knights in the final results.  Aquinas would then best an eleven team field to win the Siena Heights Invitational by 38 points.

The Saints, who are looking to claim their first WHAC title since 2020, finished second in 2024 and find themselves slightly behind one other WHAC school in the Top 25. Cornerstone sits at No. 7 in the current poll.

Coach Wojciakowski added, "The women continue to compete at a high level and I am eager to watch them perform this weekend in Iowa.  We are fit and we are running with confidence."

The Saints will return to action on October 4th as they travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to compete in the Seminole Valley Stampede. The meet will be contested at Seminole Valley Park with the women's start time scheduled for 10:45am (EST).
