Box Score Grand Rapids, Mich. — It seems redundant, but the Saints continue their march toward the ultimate success—but for Coach Ryan Campbell and his AQ Women's Volleyball team, it's all about the progression. Not just getting better every match, every day, every week. The progression we're talking about is the 2025 to-do list: win the WHAC regular-season title—check; qualify for nationals—check; win the WHAC Tournament—up next tomorrow; and then make a long run in the NAIA National Tournament. Tonight, the Saints needed to take care of business, and Rochester Christian was the task assigned to this focused and hungry squad.
Aquinas 3, Rochester Christian 0 (25–17, 25–20, 25–18)
Aquinas set the tone quickly, using efficient ball movement from setter Natalie West—who delivered 37 assists and added eight digs—to keep the Warriors scrambling. Offensive firepower came from everywhere, but the trio of Cece Pelak (16 kills), Lauren Chioini (14 kills), and Nevaeh Bakker (10 kills) powered the Saints through the first two sets with authoritative swings and timely runs. Libero Bella Hommes anchored the back row with 20 digs, helping AQ stay in rhythm and force Rochester Christian into uncomfortable swings.
The Saints continued to click in the second and third sets, with Pelak and Chioini combining for 29 kills on the night and Bakker adding a strong .429 hitting performance. West spread the offense perfectly, while Kami Morse and Chloe Hogarth provided steady defensive support to help AQ extend rallies and win points in transition. The blocking trio of Bakker, Chioini, and West added crucial touches at the net, slowing down RCU hitters and allowing for clean counterattacks. Fresh contributions from Jenna Lee, Kate Schneider, Jeralyn Hoppes, and Julia Schweihofer gave AQ added depth and momentum as they closed out the sweep with confidence.
By the final whistle, Aquinas had executed with poise, energy, and precision—qualities that continue to define this program's ascent. The Saints now find themselves exactly where they expected to be: back in the WHAC Championship match, playing their best volleyball at the most important point of the season.
All Saints on Deck: Excitement and Energy Required

Bring a friend, fill Coach Bo Court, and help push the Saints toward another conference tournament championship.
Coach's Comments
Head Coach Ryan Campbell was energized by his team's effort as they punched their ticket to the title match:
"I loved our focus tonight. In the postseason, every point matters, and our team embraced that from the first serve to the last. We stayed aggressive, stayed disciplined, and trusted each other in the big moments. Now we get to compete for a WHAC championship at home—exactly the opportunity this group has worked so hard to earn."
