Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Valorant Team faced off with the well-equipped team of Siena Heights on Monday (Feb. 10).

The road of Aquinas Valorant is steep and ever-challenging, but AQ continues its valiant march no matter the incline or the opponent. The Saints faced their most difficult opponents of the season thus far on Monday (Feb. 10) as the team faced off with Siena Heights. SHU earned the first place position in each Esports title in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier this semester.
AQ found an early deficit against SHU but continued their uphill battle until the end. Falling in the first leg of the contest 13-3. The second game mirrored the first with mainly keeping a similar scoreline. But in the end, SHU finished the leg 13-2 giving them the 2-0 win over AQ.
By the Numbers
- Megan Brennan continues to lead the AQVAL team as she held a 21/29/4 performance
- Max Aguilar-Ochoa bounced back to the top of the leaderboard with a 15/28/5 showing
- Viktor Chhun remained steady in the two legs with 16/28/3
- Noah Szarejko upped his performance in the second game to finish 15/28/3
- Jean Berthaudin tallied 7/28/2 for his first official collegiate bout
