AQVAL Finds Difficulty Against Saint Xavier

AQ unable to secure a game, falling 2-0

Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Valorant Team continued into their season as the Saints faced off with Saint Xavier for week two on Saturday (Feb. 8).

Saint Xavier 2 , Aquinas 0

AQ had a shaky start in the first leg of the match. SXU took advantage of the Saints' cautious play and took control of the contest. Aquinas managed to find small victories throughout but faltered 13-3 in the first game.

Returning to play, AQ found sturdier play and shook the Cougars in key rounds. But the Cougars found a breathing point and brought the contest back under their control. AQ continues to show promise as the team demonstrates improvements from game one to game two for the second week in a row. The team improved but did not find the win as the Cougars locked in the 2-0 victory with the second leg ending 13-6.
