Aquinas takes on Lawrence Tech in week 6

Grand Rapids, Mich. — The Aquinas College Valorant Team returned to the online arena on Saturday (Mar. 8) for a late evening contest with the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech.

Lawrence Tech 2, Aquinas 0

The Saints stood ready for the challenge of the Blue Devils from the contest's opening round. AQ knew the opposition was well-equipped and adaptable. Even with key aim, LTU managed to pivot rounds in their favor with proficient agent use. The Blue Devils showed they had a better grasp on the heavy execution based map tactics. AQ did not go down without key moments as Jacob Halaas shocked LTU with a four-elimination and defuse round. In the end of the first leg, AQ could not keep the page and dropped the game 13-1.

Game two saw LTU continue to demonstrate their level of play. Even while being out ranked, Aquinas continued to find good shoots and continued to find educational notes throughout the contest. In the end, the Blue Devils took the leg 13-2, taking the contest 2-0.
