An Indiana Tech attack error followed by another Sturdevant kill gave Aquinas its first lead of the match at 2-1 in the second set. The Warriors quickly regained control, mounting an 8-3 run. Kills from Ryden Luedtke and Alexander Rodriguez trimmed the deficit to 8-7, and a service ace from Colin Ilagan later tied the set at 11-11.

Jones continued his strong performance with another kill, but Indiana Tech built a 12-7 advantage. A connection between Sturdevant and Luedtke brought the Saints within one, but the Warriors maintained control and pushed ahead 20-14. Jones added two more late kills, but Indiana Tech completed the sweep with another 25-16 set victory.

Coach's Comments

Head coach Michael Crane emphasized resilience despite the result.

"We had stretches where we competed at a high level and executed the game plan," Crane said. "Indiana Tech is a strong, disciplined team, and when we had lapses, they capitalized. Our focus now is on tightening up our serve-receive and sustaining energy for longer runs. The effort is there — we just need to turn those competitive moments into consistent production."
