Chloe Sage Commits to AQ Cross Country and Track and Field Programs

Chloe Sage, the daughter of Tricia Sage and Don Teeples, has signed her national letter of intent to continue her running career as a Saint. Sage, who preps at Traverse City West High School, became the second signee of the 2019-20 recruiting class for the Aquinas College women's cross country and track & field programs.

Chloe, a four year varsity member of the track and field team, holds personal bests times of 13.5 (100 meters) and 28.4 (200 meters). She has been named to the Honor Roll all four years of high school and ran cross country during her sophomore season.

"During my college search, I was looking for a smaller school," Sage commented. "When I first visited Aquinas I fell in love with the campus, and it felt like home. On my visit I met with coach Winne and he was very welcoming, I am excited to be a part of the team."

She has two brothers named, Hunter and Alex, and is undecided on her field of study at Aquinas College.

"We are looking forward to Chloe joining our squad," Aquinas' associate head coach, Kevin Winne, commented. "She will add depth to our female sprint crew and I believe she has a great opportunity to thrive in our program."
