4x800 Meter Relay and DMR Teams Qualify for Finals at Day One of Nationals

Results

The AQ men's track and field team began started its events at the NAIA Indoor Championships in Brookings, South Dakota on Thursday (Mar. 5). AQ competed in two events.
 
The 4x800 meter relay team of Robert Morse, Grayson Harding, Connor McGee and Matt MacGregor finished with a time of 7:45.22 to finish as the runners-up in the semifinals, they won their heat and qualified for the finals. The time is a season-best for the team; the previous best time was 7:52.49 at the AQ Quad Meet on January 31st.
 
Aquinas' Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team of Gannon Foley, Adam Bailey, Caleb Hodgkinson and Grayson Harding placed seventh and qualified for the finals with a season-best time of 10:11.87.
 
The Saints will compete in seven semifinal events and six national finals on Friday (Mar. 6). The events start that day with the men's weight throw final at 12:00 PM (CST).
