Grand Rapids, Michigan - The men's track & field team continued their indoor season by hosting the annual WHAC vs MIAA Challenge at the Alksnis Athletic & Recreation Building. The Saints hosted Cornerstone, Cleary, Siena Heights, Indiana Tech, Rochester, Madonna, Alma, Adrian, Albion, Olivet and Calvin in front of a packed house on Friday night. The Saints claimed four first place finishes and established many season and lifetime bests.
The Saints would take the gold medal in the 200, 600, mile, and long jump on Friday evening.
Keiton Fase, a junior from Rockford, would win the 200 meters in 22.18. The 600 meter top spot was claimed by freshman,
Alex Dumont. His time of 1:26.07 secured his first collegiate victory, while
Isaac Boire would win the mile in 4:40.03.
Jalen Radke matched his lifetime best in the long jump with a mark of 23-6 1/4 to win his signature event.
Aquinas will return to action next Friday and Saturday when they host the WHAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
