The Aquinas women's bowling team also made the trip to Ohio to compete in the Bowling Green State University Falcon Classic this weekend (Nov. 20). 21 teams competed at the event, with Aquinas placing 15th in the field of play. Indiana Tech also won the women's tournament, with Lourdes, Concordia, Rochester, Cornerstone, and UM-Dearborn all placing inside the top ten teams.
Narelle Hickmon was the best bowler for AQ, placing 45th with a pin total of 851. Hickmon averaged 170.2 with a best game of 192 in her second game.
Carley Blanchard placed 59th with a five-game total of 811, averaging 162.2 pins over the five games. Her best game
Sydney Wetzel was the third-best bowler for the Saints, placing 69th in the field of competition with 779 pins over five games. Her best game was her fifth game with a score of 191, propelling her average up to 155.8.
Audrey Meader had a five-game total of 748, good for the 80th position on the leaderboard. She had an average of 149.6 and a best game of 177 in her third game.
Nicole Pawloski played four games for a score of 649, averaging 162.25. Pawloski's best game was her fifth game with an impressive score of 220.
Morgan Jones played the fourth game in place of Pawloski, scoring a 147.
The team will be back in action on December 4th for the third WHAC Jamboree of the bowling season. The event will be played at Royal Scot Lanes.
